Pennington Archers are a friendly field archery club affiliated with the NFAS
(National Field Archery Society)
We meet and shoot in the beautiful surroundings of Linsty Wood which lies on the fells above the foot of Lake Windermere in the English Lake District.
These pages are intended for club members as well as others who want to find out more about us. For those new to field archery please click on the 'Join Us' tab at the top of this page. Established archers may contact the beginners course coordinator to arrange for direct assessment if applicable

The First Annual Pennington Archers Photographic Competition
ATTENTION Members of Pennington Archers! Cameras cameras everywhere!
We all seem to carry a camera with us these days; on our phones, mp3 players, or perhaps the more traditional compact or SLR. The question is: Can you snap the image that 'speaks a thousand words'?
In 2012 we will invite club members to send in photographs that encapsulate our past time. Photographs of bows, arrows, archers, targets, and anything else that has a connection to the sport of archery. So keep your cameras handy over the next few months, and look out for entry details on the website.
